Nobody has to be home to host it. Whoever turns up first starts it, new or from the save you already have.
Fall 14, and it is 6:00am in the valley.
Switch him on, then type @snib where is Linus today in the game chat. He answers, right there.
Abigail: @snib where is linus today
Snib: Tent by the mountain lake most of the day. He forages near the mine entrance in the morning.
Sam: @snib where do I get truffle oil
Snib: Put a truffle in an oil maker. You need a pig, and pigs only find truffles outdoors once it stops raining.
Every time you sleep, your farm is backed up. Pick a day and put it back. If the machine is ever rebuilt, your valley comes back with it, because the backup is the real copy and the disk is just where it runs.
Already have a farm? The farm's owner can upload the save you have been playing at home, restore it, and everybody carries on from there.
The panel reads your save and shows which bundles are left, and exactly which items you still need. Skills too, per player, so you can see who is carrying the mining.
Then ask Snib where to find them.
Wake it, sleep it, see who is on. No bot to host and nothing to install.
Sunny Meadows is open! Invite code SG9TQK4WNPB2
Abigail joined. 2 of 10 in the valley.
Lewis left. 1 still farming.
Nobody has played for 5 minutes. Sunny Meadows is asleep.
Snib tells you when the farm opens, who arrives and leaves, and when it goes to sleep. Ask him who is on right now and he will tell you, without anybody having to load the game to find out.
No more waiting for that one friend who is never online to start the server. It wakes when somebody wants it, and sleeps 5 minutes after the last person leaves.
Pick the map, the profit margin, monsters at night, your pet and the farm cave when you make it. Money can be shared or not.
Pick a pack and the farm runs it. The panel names every mod, so everyone is installing off the same list.
A farm belongs to a group. It survives whoever happened to make it.
Switch the page on, then the invite. Your friends see the code, with no account at all.
Name a farm and it exists. There is no setup step you have to get right.
Pick where it runs when you make it, and move it later if the group changes. Everyone gets the same short ping instead of one person carrying the lag.
Give it a name and send one link. Nobody needs an account to join, and nobody needs to be online first.
